Stefan Konstantopoulos

After claiming that his first childhood toy was a cassette recorder, Stefan followed his passion for music to an internship at a commercial recording studio in his hometown of Portland, Oregon. He later tracked demos for local bands, helped DIY artists set up home studios, managed Artist Relations for an equipment manufacturer, recorded some live shows for touring bands and dabbled in sync music before moving to Nashville. Stefan now produces demos and records for artists across multiple genres, with an emphasis on artist development. He also remains committed to educating himself along with aspiring engineers through his remote consulting, written tutorials, online Q&A sessions, volunteer mentoring and sharing opinions in Tape Op magazine.
